As a guitarist, Neo shared his passion of metal with his childhood friend Jarlaath. He joined him to found the band and chose the name Penumbra from an old song issued from Jarlaath’s previous band Imperatoria.

Since then, Neo manages the band and composes most of the songs with Jarlaath.
